RYAN WOOD – Accompanist | |||||||||||
Ryan has been playing the piano from a very early age. He began accompanying choirs at the age of 13 and is currently the accompanist with Maesteg Children’s Choir, Cor Meibion Maesteg air Cylch, Cowbridge Amateur Operatic Society and, of course, Viva to the Diva. Ryan is much in demand as an accompanist with various choirs and soloists. He has accompanied | At present, Ryan is developing his skills as a Musical Director. He has been MD of Spotlight Theatre Company and Cor Merched Cwm Llynfi, and in July 2006, Ryan formed his own mixed choir, Noteworthy, after a very successful charity concert. This is a venture he is thoroughly enjoying. Ryan has a special interest in opera and particularly enjoys accompanying the ‘Divas’. | ||||||||||
 | Maesteg Gleemen, Cor Merched Cwm Llynfi, Cor Yr Hen Blwyf, Dowlais Male Voice Choir, Neath Cancer Challenge Singers, Spotlight Theatre Company and Mid Glamorgan Mixed Choir, as well as various soloists. Ryan has also performed at St David’s Hall, when he accompanied the award-winning Cardiff-based choir, Only Men Aloud. He has also accompanied Serendipity, winners of the S4C Cor Cymru competion in 2005. | ||||||||||
