NICOLA HARRIS – Soprano | |||||||||||
![]() | a teacher of Music and English. She then completed a Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and went on to teach in Canada for two years. Nicola has performed with a number of amateur dramatic societies, including Llandaff Musical Society and Spotlight Theatre. She joined Cowbridge Operatic | ||||||||||
role of Ida (Die Fledermaus). Recent roles include Mabel (Pirates of Penzance), Rose Seller (Oliver!). She has also recently appeared in Bizet's Carmen and The Parlour (Grace Williams). Nicola has an extensive repertoire and relishes a challenge! She is looking forward to performing some of her favourite arias with ‘Viva to the Diva’. | |||||||||||
Nicola was born in Aberdare but is now living in Cardiff, where she works as a freelance translator. Nicola has sung from a very young age and has a wealth of choral experience, which has seen her tour parts of Africa and Swaziland. She has sung with a number of Welsh choirs in Eisteddfodau, and more recnetly with the BBC choir. She studied at Coleg Y Drindod in Carmarthen, | |||||||||||
