Born in Leeds, Beryl moved to Cardiff when she was one year old. She enjoyed taking part in school Eisteddfodau, singing solos and duets in Welsh between the ages of 12-16. Beryl joined Cowbridge Operatic Society in 1980 and has been involved in all their productions since that time. She pursues vocal studies with Clifford Bunford, a former | Widow), Mabel (Pirates of Penzance), Gabrielle (La Vie Parisienne), Elsie Maynard (Yeomen of the Guard) and Adele (Die Fledermaus). Beryl has also appeared with Concerto of Penarth and has performed in several concerts. Beryl’s other love is golf, and she is currently Ladies Captain at Southerndown Golf Club. | |||||||||||
