As a ‘collector’ of the less performed roles and operas, Anne is possibly unique in having sung the part of Miss Benson in two separate UK productions of Delibes Lakmé! Even in the field of operetta she has sought out the obscure end of the repertoire, singing Lady Vernon in Sullivan’s Haddon Hall. | |||||||||||
 | Originally from Surrey, Anne has sung with opera companies including European Chamber Opera, Opera for All, Neath Opera, City Opera and Opera School of Wales in venues throughout the UK. Her roles include Carmen and Mercedes (Carmen), Nicklausse (Tales of Hoffman), Meg Page (Merry Wives of Windsor), Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas), Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus), Bianca | Anne regularly performs with choral societies and choirs across Wales and South West England as a concert and oratorio soloist. Repertoire includes Handel’s Messiah, Beethoven’s Mass in C, Mendelssohn’s St. Paul, and Brahms Alto Rhapsody, as well as works by Bach, Schubert, Mozart, and Haydn. She is also a member of the Wiltshire-based Opera Sulis. | |||||||||
